If I love a product, I eagerly wait for it. I definitely prefer COD because it feels safer than digital payments—at least until you establish trust and prove that your digital system is reliable. However, if someone tries to misuse the COD option, you can introduce an additional confirmation step. For large orders, you may want to reconsider offering COD and require an alternative payment method instead. This way, you initially build a base of trusted customers who are more likely to order again when they need something. Everything starts with trust. Note: It definitely depends on the type of product you’re selling. For example, returns are more common with clothing.
