Tech guys can anyone answer this ? Why google doesn't allow users to change mail name once registered. Suppose I created a gmail name abcd@gmail .com then why we are not allowed to change name of gmail. Can't a company like google handle database regarding changing name and all ? like it's so frustrating for me. I make a gmail with my startup name then I have to register new gmail if I decided to change my startup name. Why does this happens ? Even big user base like instagram can handle unique id change and all then why not gmail.

Don't fix something that isn't broken. We have always heard this matra. But then why does giants like Youtube, Insta etc; silently change major components of their UI. Why change something that the users are soo familiar with? What's the logic?
