I see 2-5 year olds even scrolling on YT/IG, it boils my blood.

someone suggested me that if I plant only one type of crop in a large scale then there's a risk of loss but if I plant different crops in a large scale then the risk of loss would decrease. what are your thoughts on it? is this true?
