Technical books, especially in engineering, are often filled with dense theory that makes learning feel monotonous. I plan to change that by creating a series of books on technical subjects, starting with mechanical engineering, that take a completely different approach. Instead of beginning with theory, each chapter will start with real-world problems and scenarios that students can relate to—situations they might encounter in daily life. The challenge will be to solve these problems using engineering concepts. Whenever students feel stuck, they can navigate to the theory section, which will be explained in a simple, engaging manner, before returning to the problem. The book will be structured in such a way that by the time students work through all the problems, they will have gained a deep, application-based understanding of the subject—without ever feeling overwhelmed by dry, abstract theory. Any comments?
