My dear friend , Commodity business is hard to execute as you would require a physical unit , manpower and then there goes a lot in marketing as consumers have to pay for the product where the tech is free to use (initially ) . Commodity’s too have IP , it can be either process , or product . Revenue in tech is directly in control of owner but in commodity there are multiple levels first the Superstockist , then stockist , whole sellers , retailers and then to consumer .
