The Cricket Match of Entrepreneurship I watched two founders pitch yesterday. The first spoke rapidly, showcasing flashy metrics and bold promises. "We'll be profitable in three months!" The audience was captivated—a perfect T20 performance. The second spoke deliberately about systems and long-term vision. Some investors checked their phones, missing the Test match unfolding before them. Most founders play T20-style—quick validation, rapid shots, instant gratification. They sprint through idea validation: testing hypotheses, interviewing customers, and pivoting quickly based on feedback. But after validation comes the Test match: building sustainable growth, developing systems, nurturing teams, and focusing on endurance rather than spectacle. The T20 founders often burn out, chasing viral moments and quick exits. The Test match players build legacies. So, validate like T20, execute deliberate ly like Test cricket. That's how championships are won. Cheering for India 🇮🇳
