I think this entire debate misses the point. We should be celebrating that India has MULTIPLE thriving startup ecosystems instead of this toxic competition between cities. Each hub has its own strengths - Mumbai for fintech and D2C, Bengaluru for SaaS and deep tech, Delhi for e-commerce and marketplaces. The fact that different cities are specializing is a sign of a maturing ecosystem, not something to be ranked in simplistic "who's #1" terms. Fadnavis should focus on making Maharashtra attractive for specific sectors where it has natural advantages rather than trying to "beat" Bengaluru at everything.
