The Gwalior-based company had previously secured $2.2 million in a seed funding round from India Quotient and others. The proceeds will be used to expand its omnichannel presence and deepen its product portfolio across kitchen and home improvement categories, Home Essentials said in a press release. Co-founded in 2024 by brothers Tanishq and Divyam Jain, Home Essentials is a digital-first home and kitchen brand offering a curated range of more than 1,000 products across storage, cookware, furniture, and decor. The brand positions itself around “smart living,” combining high utility with modern aesthetics at accessible price points. Key products include kitchen storage containers, cookware, home organisation solutions, bathroom accessories, and decor. The company plans to strengthen the home and kitchen category through investments in offline expansion, supply chain capabilities, and product innovation. It aims to scale revenue to Rs 500 crore over the next three years and reach 5 million Indian households. Since inception, the company claims to have served over one million customers and maintained strong unit economics with a focus on profitability. It is also expanding its offline presence and plans to operate 20 stores by the end of this year across the country. Home Essentials may compete directly or indirectly with other brands in the segment such as Home Centre, Nestesia, and IKEA, among others.

The proceeds will be used to expand its cross-border logistics platform, strengthen its LCL (Less-than-Container Load) vertical, scale automation and visibility tools, and deepen its presence across major export hubs. Founded in 2021, Agraga provides a unified platform that integrates freight booking, customs, warehousing, and embedded financial services. The firm aims to simplify cross-border logistics for MSMEs and mid-market enterprises by offering real-time pricing, tracking, and compliance workflows. Agraga claims to have built its stack around four layers which includes discovery, tracking, execution, and data-driven decision-making. Agraga serves more than 700 customers and 1,000 vendors across 40 global trade lanes. It also partners with financial institutions including ICICI Bank and IDFC First Bank. Its subsidiary Byteport Logistics focuses on channel-partner aggregation for MSME and LCL customers. Bajaj Finserv backs Indian startups through its corporate venture arm, Bajaj Finserv Ventures, and its newer alternative investment subsidiary, with a focus on fintech, healthcare and technology.

D2C home décor brand DecorTwist has raised $200K in a bridge pre-Series A funding round led by angel investor Tejas Paresh Lodaya. The proceeds will be used to improve its inventory to meet the growing demand among consumers, introduce new products, and expand to quick commerce platforms, DecorTwist said in a press release. Launched in 2022 by Anupam Rajey, DecorTwist is a home decor brand that aims to provide high-quality home products while offering a wide range of categories like dining, decor, gardening, furniture, pooja essentials, and gifting under one roof. The company is committed to providing accessible and stylish solutions for every home. Its handcrafted and affordable products are designed to give a memorable experience and cater to diverse needs and preferences of the customers. “Our vision is to become India’s most loved D2C home décor brand, synonymous with quality, sustainability, and innovation. Much like Lenskart transformed the eyewear industry, we believe every Indian household deserves access to products that are not only functional but also stylish and timeless,” said Anupam Rajey, founder, DecorTwist. As per market research, the Indian home décor market is expected to reach $30 billion by 2026. DecorTwist says that it has grown into a trusted home decor destination, offering practical and thoughtfully designed products across storage, dining, kitchenware, and pooja essentials. The brand claims to have generated over Rs 12.5 crore in revenue, served over 100k customers, and has secured a 17% repeat purchase rate, showcasing strong customer loyalty. It has a presence on online platforms like Amazon, Myntra, and Flipkart.
