The most dangerous translation here is the one about five-year revenue projections. Early-stage investors KNOW you can't predict exact numbers. What they're really testing is your strategic thinking, your understanding of your market, and your ability to build a thoughtful financial model. They want to see your assumptions, your growth hypotheses, not an exact prediction. Founders who get defensive about this miss the point entirely.
