I'd love to throw some light on my experiences at servicing centers. Definitely all the above mentioned issues are serious and people are facing one or combinations of these every time they take their vehicle to a service center. The perceptions that service centers are expensive it's not false in any way. They charge way more than other repair centers but what would people have to say about it. A person like me would be happy to spend some extra bucks for the quality and there comes in the second big issue, the trust factor and transparency. They don't keep a spare of something very important for the vehicle which has no profit margins for them and so they conveniently say they don't have it at the center. They want to make use of those spare parts that bring in more margins and require frequent changing. This is my personal experience but I know for a fact that many other people experienced the same. Nd the last nail in coffin is the service delay . All the centre needs to do is give an accurate time but when the car would be ready to take home. But, to avoid the discussion when taking in, they promise an early time and make customers sit for an hour. This problem is very very commonly seen in almost all the service centers. I don't think people would be angry if the centre gives a time late but deliver it as soon as the customer comes. UNDER PROMISE AND OVER DELIVER should be a norm.
