This just popped in my feed. You are right by saying that law should be understood by normal people. But I think you are positioning this as a paralegal (assistant for lawyers) which normal people don't know what it means. Moreover without a licence your app or tool cannot claim to be giving legal advice. So you will still have to make the disclaimer that the out put your app gives cannot be considered legal advise and may be inaccurate and suggest consulting a human lawyer. The whole point of an Al lawyer app is to make it human plus Al. I as a lawyer work with multiple AI/ML startups and would be happy to assist, with feedback on your product and giving you guidance on benchmarking and fine tuning the model.
