Image Size or Dimensions can be the problem.
I tried to upload 1350*1080 with 995 kb and got error.
It worked when I upload a screenshot with 350kb and 1080*900.

Medial has issue of upload image fit, it cuts/crips lot of our image, losing the original dimensions of image. Hope this gets solved.
