You are not wrong. Recently job search has beocme more difficult to crack than before. I believe there are multiple factors. 1. A lot of people who are not fit for a role have started applying to jobs online. People scroll through it like reels. So recruiters depend on ATS softwares which honestly suck at finding the right resumes and reject a lot of good ones. 2. Number of highly skilled and experienced people being jobless has increased due to layoffs. They are accepting roles at lower comps and levels. The only way I could suggest that will work is references. Get your resume in through someone. This helps in atleast landing the interview - rest depends on how you perform. Ofcource, working on better resume and skills always helps. Good luck!
