I hope you’re doing well. I wanted to introduce Vetcare, an integrated pet care startup poised to tap into India’s rapidly growing pet healthcare industry. The Indian pet care market is projected to reach ₹2,10,000 crore by 2032, growing at a CAGR of 19.2%, yet the industry remains highly fragmented. Most major players, including Heads Up for Tails, Supertails, and Wiggles, have concentrated on Tier 1 cities with a focus on premium retail, online pet products, and limited veterinary services. However, Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities are experiencing a surge in pet ownership, driven by rising disposable incomes, increasing nuclear families, and a growing awareness of pet healthcare—yet they lack organized, high-quality pet care services. This is where we see an untapped opportunity. We are currently raising ₹1 crore in funding at a pre-money valuation of ₹20 crore to establish our first two centers in Odisha, a strategic entry point where demand is rising, but competition remains low.
