India’s pet care market is growing at 13.9% annually, making it one of the fastest-growing pet care markets in the world. It is estimated that India’s pet care industry will reach $800 million by 2025.but we have only few potential players in this industry. Is this a correct time for us to get into this industry. Can we do any innovation in this field can we come up with any new product or idea that give specific identy to our brand. If u have any insights pls feel free to share

I think we should have USP product.And there is a USP product in India of animal species.We have to use this to pull customers. If want further discussion comment below, I will contact with u....thank u.

Right. There is a lot of scope in this market. But companies which failed, tried copy pasting US pet companies. The way to go to market for this sector is not readily available as India is still fragmented, between pet owners with lower income generally having a stray dog. For the more affluent class there are several stores in Bangalore which I’ve seen giving that luxury pet care mall feeling (mega showrooms) undeniably there’s still space to squeeze in with more all round support, a step ahead of Just pet care products.

Yup I'm also looking for something to do in that so called pet industry but i found that it's very capital intensive in the beginning. But we can plan for something like a shop or something where pet owners can left their pets for months and we'll take care of their pet along with ther pets. I've seen this business in foreign like USA UK etc. DM me I'd love to chat a bit more about this.

Playing on right price point having one product with great usp which pulls the customer and having more sku’s for them to buy multiple things at one place Will increase the basket size also having sku’s like shampoos make them return back to you once in a while. Without a returning customer it will not work for long time

There’s this company called head and tails which is very expensive a harness costed me Rs.4.5k But later realised that it’s ridiculous to spend such money as my pet tore it off too. There’s other brand called indiehop who sells it for 1k And no big difference in quality and it hasn’t damaged even a bit In 1 & 1/2 years
