I still don’t see the startup showcase as the “focus” of the app. It seems like anupam was right, these are just marketing hungry founders who went to shark tank, were absolutely unconvincing during the pitch. Just took whatever offer they got for getting on air/ having a so called deal on camera. Either they did not complete their promise to the investor (Ritesh) or they never completed the deal. In any case, it just shows a serious lack of character (Ritesh was extremely generous to offer the deal tbh) Also, i was expecting to see traffick on this platform after the air since the idea was not bad. But literally it seems this won’t be working as there’s none even after 1 day.

I can see a rapid influx of new users. With backing from multiple VCs and angel investors, Medial have definitely received expert advice to build the best possible solution. The investor world is split into two: those who believe in traditional connections and those who support new methods. This bias is quite common - Angel.co, once a premium angel network finder, has now pivoted into a job search platform There’s also a widespread belief among investors that a social media platform cannot emerge from India, as none have succeeded so far. But the outcome is still uncertain-social platforms from Germany, Russia, China, Israel, have done well. Meanwhile, Ritesh is actively engaging with investors and startups for a long time. He definitely has something in mind Frankly speaking, social networking & news are necessary part of the platform, but the core is like a suite of necessary tools, connectivity and visibility to startups and businesses
