A new, sustainable rideshare platform that is leaving behind Ola and Uber. 𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝗕𝗹𝘂𝗲𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗿𝘁 !! Today, while traveling with BluSmart during my marathon, I had a conversation with the driver, and he literally helped me with my content by sharing numerous insights about BluSmart. ---- BluSmart Mobility is an Indian ride-sharing company, headquartered in Gurugram, India. It was founded by Anmol Singh Jaggi, Punit K Goyal and Puneet Singh Jaggi in 2019. BluSmart operates a 100% electric vehicle fleet {Mahindra e-Verito, Tata e-Tigor, Tata Xpres-T EV, Hyundai Kona Electric and MG ZS Electric } tapping into the growing demand for sustainable mobility solutions. The fleet includes vehicles from major manufacturers, ensuring reliability and consumer confidence. { They have their own vehicles, unlike ola and uber where anyone can register their vehicle} In Delhi, 80% of new electric taxi registrations were attributed to BluSmart in 2022, showcasing its strong market presence. Around 40% of BluSmart's drivers have transitioned from competitors like Uber and Ola, attracted by better pay and working conditions. The company has seen a boost in revenue through a combination of fixed fare pricing and subscription-based corporate contracts, resulting in a steady income stream. Notably, Tata Motors and other key players have made investments in BluSmart, signaling strong industry support and potential for scaling operations. BluSmart places a strong emphasis on cust5omer safety, with stringent background checks for drivers, subscription-based access control, and enhanced in-ride safety features. { All the rides are accepted through their backend, driver cannot accept any ride directly} As of July 2022, the company announced it had saved 4300 plus tonnes of CO2 over 1.8 million rides in Delhi NCR. { Sustainability is the key parameter in their business} On World EV Day 2021, BluSmart announced a partnership with Jio-BP to set up charging infrastructure across India.
