Hellos!! my first post here! I started a business a year ago, of a brand which deals exclusively in pure silks. Only pure silks. and right now I have sarees only, however I the brand is about making everything in pure silks. eg. stationery Dharmic ceremonies essential wedding things like invite, aantarpat, jhaal chadar, haat rumal festive requirements like bhog covers pillow cases, curtains and Novelty items and yes, Indian clothing, silk jackets with Indian and western designs, men and women, and western clothing, men and women. And children. Dealing in all 4 types of commercially made pure silks, it's regional forms like Bishnupuri pure silk, murshidabad pure silk, processed forms like georgette, organza, chiffon, crepes and the raw forms in all permutations and combinations. I want to know the sustainability of such kind of business in India. The possible road map, Kindly evaluate my idea.

Sarees are a solid start, but expanding into stationery, curtains, and Western wear too soon could dilute your brand. Focus first on making your sarees iconic before branching out. Otherwise, you risk being a jack-of-all-trades, master of none
