I MAY GET BAN FROM MEDIAL FOR THIS POST: I bought the medial subscription around 7 days ago, everything is good but the most annoying part or feature is 'Startup showcase'. like i genuinely not getting why just on the basis of 'thinking of an idea or getting max upvotes', medial is deciding whom to reward . IAM LEAVING THE TOP 3 STARTUPS BCZ THEY ARE DECIDED BY REAL INVESTORS. Let me explain, the real founder who genuinely thinks his/her idea is great, then he will start building the small stuff or mvp or any shit. he won't wait for any approval or some kind of validation. And if he thinks his idea needs a good investment then ₹1,000 are nothing. and the bad part is people are doing dm's for upvotes. Atleast 90% ideas needs an app and even if i assume you know how to build an app(which is rare as a college student) then also you need atleast ₹10,000 to publish it. so what is the point of putting so much effort & time asking for upvotes for ₹1,000? AND MOST IMPORTANT: Ideas are a piece of shit. no one owes them, game is of execution so in the first place what is the point of given any prize on 'JUST IDEA' ? atleast there should be some visible work na ? not necessarily an app but there has to be some visible work done by the person. That makes some sense then. Otherwise just open chatgpt and search for ideas and put it there and then ask for upvotes. use fancy buzz words that looks cool and you will get upvotes also. Iam not against anyone but all iam trying to say is : 'reward those who are putting some efforts'. If this feature got viral then medial for sure will get many paid users but then a wrong habit will develop in future entrepreneurs thinking they can get reward for thinking something cool.
