Why Everyone Thinks Startups Are Better Than Jobs (Until Reality Hits) Startups sound cooler than jobs. Who wants to be “Employee #347” when you can be “Founder & CEO”? Social media makes it look like freedom, money, and Lamborghinis. Reality? Not so much. The Copy-Paste Startup Wave 1. Shopify store – Until they realize ads cost money. 2. Personal branding – Just posting motivational quotes. 3. Freelancing platform – As if Fiverr and Upwork aren’t enough. Ever since Shark Tank India, Internet is full of “CEOs” running nothing but Instagram pages. The Harsh Truth ❌ No salary for years. ❌ No weekends. ❌ 90% of startups fail. So, Is It Really Better Than a Job? Jobs feel like a cage; startups feel like freedom—until reality hits. If your “big idea” is just another Shopify store, congrats, you’ve built yourself a job—without security. Startups can be better—but only if you’re ready for the battle. Otherwise, that 9-to-5 isn’t so bad after all. Expectations V/S Reality
