What if inshorts launches this as their feature in the next update?
Dear Medial Team, Things we really want in the next update:
1. Hashtags
2. Mention (@tag feature) - if the username feature enables
3. Following section in the profile
4. Enable the feature of adding the company's logo along with our profile name

In shorts news app was founded by Azhar iqubal, Anunay Arunav, and deepit Purkayastha in 2013.
