I was thinking , why shouldn't medial show ads as revenue stream and paying the creators more along with keeping the creators program same if you say that ads ruin experience, or people don't like seeing ads etc..etc.. the truth is people hardly care to have a problem with ads , they are so...used to it as they see all over the internet , if the ads are implemented better way without forcing it like pinterest does , its a win win because if you see youtube , they let people earn through ads as more people started creating for that , the platform got popular ,the competition grew among creators and quality of content skyrocketed it's just a suggestion from my side , I'd like to know what others and medial team think about this here a example of how pinterest is showing ads and medial can copy that so , should medial should show ads on its platform ?

Ads only work at scale. >100M active users for any meaningful revenue. Why would we destroy user experience for pennies?

Nobody wants more ads. If Medial wants to make money, they should focus on subscriptions, sponsorships, or exclusive creator content. Ads make platforms annoying

f Medial implements ads smartly (like Pinterest), it won’t be annoying. Ads don’t ruin the experience if done right. It’s all about execution.

If Medial wants to scale, ads are the obvious solution. YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok grew because of ad revenue. More money = better content. It’s a no-brainer

The social graphs aren't Meta's focus anymore. They know that the distribution of ads isn't effective this way, by suggesting what you like see as a Ad to your friend as well. Targeting individuals with similar traits by finding their behavior patter
