People who starts startup consultancy , they are one of the best businessmen existed...These startup consultancy community came into existence after they saw the huge market opportunity of lakhs of Startups looking for funding. And they are aware of the ratio that 99 out of 100 Startups fails....They know that eligible startup will not apply for any Government fund through any consultants...so they are targetting the startup founders who are desperate for fundraise.... Utimately they are making profits....be charging an upfront consultancy charges in order to raise the funds.... Still...Everything is fair in Business...until the founders are getting desperate to get the funds against the upfront payment.... PERSONAL SUGGESTION : Beleive in your idea or product...and start pitching to as many investors as possible...you will start getting more leads.... I got my first funding on my 168th pitch.... Then these startup consultancy communities started approaching us to provide free services...inorder to add us in their portfolio.... This is what happens....!!!

most of agencies tells they provide startup fund grant (non refundable) but still not find right person who actually doing this.. agency ask minimum 20k upfront fess where u cant trust..
