It's a no brainer, chatGpt struggled because it was a new thing in the market, whereas deepseek is an alternative of something that already exist so the userbase of that got shifted here, ofcourse it's majorly because of it being cheap and better both.

So Deepseek is nothing but an improved GPT4 wrapper.
I'm not saying that's its bad, bust it's most likely a government funded company which burning as crazy (as GPT4 api costs are 107 times more than of deepseek v3)
