At 11, she moved to Florida, USA, where she had better access to STEM education and opportunities. At 13, she interned at Florida International University, working on machine learning projects while balancing online high school during the COVID-19 pandemic. She was inspired by the release of OpenAI’s ChatGPT-3 to create AI-driven tools for research. In January 2022, at the age of 15, she founded Delv.AI, an AI startup focused on text analytics and data extraction. She was accepted into the HF0 Residency Accelerator, a 12-week startup program in Miami, where she refined her business model. She launched the beta version of Delv. AI on Product Hunt on her 15th birthday, where it became the #3 product of the day, gaining early traction. She secured $450,000 (~₹3.7 crore) in funding from investors, including On Deck, Village Global, and AngelList Quant Fund, which helped scale the business. Delv.AI quickly grew, gaining over 10,000 users and conducting pilots with R&D companies in North America, Asia, and Europe. She participated in Miami Tech Week, where she pitched Delv.AI to investors and industry leaders. As a solo founder, her biggest challenge has been team management and maintaining morale in a rapidly growing startup. She decided to postpone college to focus entirely on Delv.AI but may pursue business education in the future. Delv.AI leverages machine learning to solve the problem of data silos, making research more efficient. Her key business strategies include: Mastering AI infrastructure to stay competitive. Building complementary AI tools around existing models. Networking through hackathons and accelerators to connect with investors and mentors. Delv.AI is valued at ₹100 crore (~$12 million) and continues to expand its AI-driven research solutions. Follow me vishakha Jangir for more such insights. :)
