When No Trade Is the Best Trade ! As traders, we often emphasize execution—finding the right stock, the right setup, and the perfect entry. But what happens when the market moves as expected, yet never offers a valid entry point? I had a stock on my watchlist that aligned perfectly with my strategy. The broader market was in a downtrend, and my pre-analysis suggested a potential shorting opportunity. Everything looked ideal—except for one crucial detail: the stock never triggered my entry criteria. Many traders struggle with the temptation to "force" a trade, fearing they’ll miss out.
