Since most startups fail, it’s going to be a huge data set for anybody to digest and make use out. Also the same idea and product can also do well the second time just because of timing. I love reading stuff by Dalio who believes in referencing the past to predict the future. But in this case there are too many variables to constantly make decisions based on what didn’t work in the past.
