I want to start a firm/syndicate focused on connecting angel investors with startup founders seeking investment. Currently, I work at a venture studio and am a core team member of a startup building a platform that connects stakeholders in the startup ecosystem. I have a deep understanding of the roadblocks founders face when securing initial funding from angel investors, which motivated me to start my own firm. Although there are many players in the market, it remains vast and full of opportunities. I’m ready to begin market research but unsure where to start. I need guidance on which websites to explore for trends, angel investor activities, regional demand, and reliable sources for data on startup funding. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
