First few steps - please do some secondary search (like find on Google etc.) around the problem you trying to solve and see if the thing you have in mind is already a pain point or a solution which will enhance current life/experience - Most product/ideas are initially designed for a target audience. Try and get as much opinion from people and see their reaction and their eventual willingness to take the solution. Suggest to take suggestions from strangers as friends and family member reactions sometimes may be positively biased - If possible make a low cost prototype and test with core target audience
