The kind of startup you build depends a lot on the city you live in. My friends in NY are building fintech/crypto startups. • In SF, Al is the norm. • In Bangalore, consumer startups dominate. London is finance. My Boston friends are biotech founders. • LA friends are building in media. • Dubai friends are building in crypto, finance and real estate. • My friends in Seoul are obsessed about gaming and e-commerce startups. • Vegas friends literally have casino-tech companies! Some observations: - Your environment influences you more than you realize - Ecosystem and network effects of startup cities are hard to beat - You can literally move to startup hubs. It's such an underrated hack to 10x the growth of your idea!. Ordinary people come across the "luck factor" but Entrepreneurs create it. How?
