🔥 A Startup Idea That Got Me Thinking! 🔥 Recently, I met a young college student 🎓 with a unique idea: “An app that lists all supermarket and shop offers in one place.” Sounds cool, right? But I asked him some tough questions: 👉 Why would shops and outlets join this app? What’s the benefit for them? 👉 Why would customers download and use it? How does it add value to their lives? 👉 How will you sustain and engage all your users? I explained the challenge: people’s needs are so different! Someone might want a Pepsi offer 🥤, another might want a discount on a helmet 🪖, or fresh vegetables 🥬. To cater to everyone, he’d need to onboard all kinds of shops, which is impossible at first. Without enough utility, users will delete the app. 🚫 So, I suggested starting with a niche: bike riders aged 18–35. This group is: ✅ Young and tech-savvy ✅ Spends online 💳 ✅ Travels and explores 🚴♂️ By building a loyal audience in a specific area, he can later onboard more shops and expand.
