College education is so overrated. Students are taught 6-7 subjects per semester and out of that hardly one subject finds real life application. Reading these many subjects for 3-4 years, then preparing for post graduation and then for a job... Harsh
One problem that i observing while growing up that the school , colleges and our education system and even our way of raising children replaces curiosity with compliance.
And once you replaces the curiosity with compliance,you get an obidient factor

Higher Software engineering/computer science education in Indian colleges in pretty substandard for the most part. That again explains why majority of Indian software engineers aren't even worth hiring.
