founders can't always be right ✅ while implementing their product. the users may use it differently too.. we should have guts or decision making skills to pivot ASAP!. Eg: A great example of this is Instagram: When Instagram was first launched in 2010, it was a location-based app called Burbn, allowing users to check in at places, make plans, and share photos. However, the founders, Kevin Systrom and Mike Krieger, noticed that users were primarily using the app to share photos rather than its other features. Realizing this trend, they made a bold decision to pivot the app entirely into a simple photo-sharing platform, stripping away all unnecessary features. This pivot led to the creation of Instagram as we know it today, which eventually became one of the most successful social media platforms, later acquired by Facebook for $1 billion. Justification: This demonstrates how founders must have the decision-making skills to observe how users interact with their product and pivot quickly when they notice a different usage pattern, leading to success.
