So ai voice calling agents work like customer support staff what I noticed that businesses spend a lot of money on them and these days ai could do customer support if trained the right way. Do you mean IVR calls as an AI Customer Support? If yes.. then I don't think it works because as a person as soon as we hear IVR voice we disconnect without even listening to it.

No , Bro in india every user faced new issue and they have their own way to explain. if you try to connect call with AI people cut call based on Their voice , not properly analyse the issue or many things who stop the use of AI.
