Tiktok banning in America. We all know that tiktok has been a platform that gives higher roi, and Targeting the ads is also a lot easier. If Tiktok is banned. Every user will be active on instagram and youtube. There is a source that says instagram already knows about this potential ban, so they are focusing on introducing new features in both app and meta business suite. As a marketer, there is not going to be much trend change in our paid ads strategy. But organic reach is definitely going to be a lot tougher than before. Brand pages only show their products, sharing AI content too often and reposting the same content again and again. All these pages will face a significant reach drop, in my opinion. For business owners who are yet to step on online presence, there will not be a great opportunity than this. ( Though there is a talk that trump won't let ban the tiktok, Chances are very low unless they sell to US company.)

In contrast, the U.S. version of TikTok heavily promotes entertainment and viral trends, often amplifying mindless or extreme content that leads to "brain rot." Studies show this difference has real impacts: Douyin fosters intellectual growth, while TikTok in the U.S. contributes to declining attention spans and digital addiction. With over 150 million U.S. users by 2023, TikTok not only presents data privacy risks but also enables China to exert influence through algorithmic manipulation and content disparity.
