Medial App being unfair ! Guys, please stop removing posts which are trying to organically promote or help startups who don't have much resources or money to spend on marketing. I had just put out a post asking people to reach out to us if they need to promote their startups or want to be featured on our website in an interview article (for free). Tbh I had reached out to the founders of this platform too, but never got a response which is still alright. I'm just calling out the hypocrisy because you guys spammed on reddit initially to gain users, now pulling up the ladder when others need to promote too. Not very fair. Rant over!

bro but Reddit is a huge platform with a crazy amount of people where medial is not so big and if you fill content with promotions then it obviously won't be considered. Just Think of being in the place of founders. Would you let your platform be filled with promotions and random content?

Blatant promotions are not allowed on Medial as of now. You can promote your startup using Startup Showcase for now. We are also building another way for you to promote your startup but it will take some time.

Medial is doing right job by removing post only seeking for financial help, They already mentioned that if the fund is in need, it should be a proper proposal or pitch it on showcase. They shall explain how their startup solving a problem, case studies, etc.. in their post in a more formal way.
