the Credit Guarantee Fund Trust for Micro and Small Enterprises (CGTMSE) has already made significant progress in supporting MSMEs: ✓The scheme has achieved 1 crore guarantees as of October 31, 2024. ✓The total amount approved in guarantees stood at Rs 7.58 lakh crore. ✓Top states by number of guarantees: Uttar Pradesh: 11.61 lakh guarantees Tamil Nadu: 7.92 lakh guarantees Andhra Pradesh: 7.78 lakh guarantees Maharashtra: 7.70 lakh guarantees Karnataka: 7.26 lakh guarantees In fact, the credit guarantee amount has been rapidly increasing: FY22: Rs 56,172 crore FY23: Rs 1.04 lakh crore FY24: Rs 2 lakh crore (highest ever in a single financial year)
