NFT - A Scam Collectible NFT a Blockchain based collectible which confirms your ownership over an image. Yea that's it. A fucking JPEG file. Ex: BAYC and Cryptopunks It was at its peak at 2022/23. People were heavily bullish on it as they assumed it as initial step to metaverse. People bought a jpeg for 170ETH at its peak which currently is trading around 16ETH. If you ever bought NFT then you are the biggest dumbfuck in the universe. People Buy it for Two reasons 1. Wealth making - Sorry not possible, Rip to your hard earned money 2. As collectible - collectible?? what a joke. A thing which you can't touch and feel and can't even get the feeling of owning something rare. Painting Were Bought as collectible because they had real HARD WORK( not a fucking computer algorithm making it ). Many paintings had a deep meaning. Artists used to take a long time making them in order to present their feelings; not to scam people and earn cash. Recently I saw a controversial painting by a well known artist - Pablo Picasso during WW2 and the feeling of just looking at the painting was unexpressive tbh but when I see a fucking random APE made by a algorithm that literally doesn't have any meaning I get offended. Btw I was very active in NFT community during the peak time and since then I believe NFT as collectible is a scam but as a technology a revolution. ( A raw post by me after a long time, niket sir ji ye post Ko delete mat kar dena as I've used cuss words, I hope medial won't kill freedom of speech)
