It doesn’t. The value of an NFT is solely linked to the creator, ambassador, and the hype that’s created. Something that has unlimited supply and can be created whenever you want is not something valuable. The US Dollar being an exception

Nfy is literally only for materialistic people I guess. It's more like a gun skin your favourite video game. You will not get anything until you do some trading with them or reselling in higher price. Their prices are full of scams. They are highly volatile you can't predict that market.

I think it’s just a fleeting trend.. nothing that makes it stand out anything more than a novelty.

NFTs value depends on the type of asset that it represents on the blockchain. If the asset in question is a tangible property such as residential real estate, its real-world price is reflected through its NFT on the blockchain. But suppose that the asset is a digital piece of content that doesn’t come with a pricing label, then its value is purely speculative. In essence, it's value depends on the market, supply and demand. You can think of this as dealing with a specific type of artwork, where each piece’s value is determined on market sentiment and what potential buyers are willing to pay for it. This means that the seller can set the price of their specific artwork to any level they want. Whether the buyer will pay that cost to gain ownership of the asset is a completely different thing altogether.

I have asked myself the same question over and over again. The value comes from the Artist who created the NFT. It has to be unique like the art of the ape stuff, not to be replicated cause a lot failed already.

I'm assuming you're talking about NFTs for art pieces. In that situation, you might inquire as to what determines the value of any work of art in any market. The answer is a variety of things, but the most important is 'mind share', which is earned through organic and paid promotion and culminates in being referenced by significant individuals on prominent platforms/mediums. Sure, you may just be a fantastic talent whose work is impossible to ignore and draws a lot of attention on its own. However, this is a one-in-ten-million chance. When it comes to selling for hundreds or millions of dollars, the game is rigged; it's all about who you know and/or where you can have your works acknowledged, the works themselves must also be sellable and have something unique about them. If you don’t know where to buy your NFT, you can sell them on OpenSea, MSHIBA, Axie, Nifty Gateway,.. I usually sell my NFT on these platforms. Remember, each NFT has a different value. It may be lucrative in addition to being valuable for collection.

Depends on the scarcity of the project brother, for example the one snoop dogg bought, that was really trending and limited. And who is making it and how much is the demand, exactly like art pieces.. you can take a picture of that too but that won’t have a same value..

I think since NFTs exploded in popularity, the situation has only gotten more complicated. Pictures of apes have sold for tens of millions of dollars, there’s been an endless supply of headlines about million-dollar hacks of NFT projects, and corporate cash grabs have only gotten worse. “Non-fungible” more or less means that it’s unique and can’t be replaced with something else.
