My startup is in pre Revenue non registered and in prototype phase I got a chance from invester to ask for funding what funding should we ask from investors and how much equity I should give

I'm working on a project, that is currently in the development phase. I want to showcase the project after completion to raise the initial funding. What is the best way to raise the initial funds?
