I couldn't resist sharing this with you all. On 28th December, I visited Vrindavan Mathura for darshan, but what I saw was appalling. The place was dirty, and the roads were filled with filth due to the recent rain. The Banke Bihari temple was overcrowded, and there was no system in place for entry, which led to chaos. What's even more shocking is that people donate money to the temple, which is allegedly used for converting black money into white. The priests arrive in Mercedes cars, and it's clear that the temple is more focused on business than spirituality. As a Hindu, it pains me to see the state of our sacred places. Despite receiving lakhs of donations daily, the temple authorities seem to have no interest in maintaining cleanliness. I spoke to some trust agencies, and they suggested that we need to take the initiative ourselves before they can help. We're planning to meet the DM of Mathura Vrindavan to discuss this further. I'd love to hear your opinions on this matter.
