So making my first post here 🚀🚀🚀 (understand this emoji is a must for any post made by a founder) I spent 14 years in a corporate role across two investment firms before starting up in 2023 with covid lone time infused introspection (like a lot of others I think) What narrative are we trying to change >> M&A - big, complicated word Bankers - mysterious, daunting figures in suits Strategics - people out to steal my idea Would love to hear from people who have sold their businesses / considered selling them or been in a company that got acquired, lets make getting acquired a non-taboo proud moment for a founder and their team!

Being acquired doesn’t mean you failed. It’s more about growth and scaling with resources you didn’t have before. If you think that’s ‘giving up,’ you need to broaden your perspective.

As someone who’s been in an acquired company, I can say there’s a mix of excitement and frustration. You have to surrender a lot of autonomy, but the financial security is hard to ignore
