Some sectors do not need a technology disruption, like mental health professionals. Telemedicine works for physical illness because symptoms have a direct cause, which cannot be said for mental illnesses. Mental illness cures work best in front of the doctor who can see your micro-emotions as you speak about your issues. I agree that mental health services can be costly, and I have been grateful to have been able to afford these services. Having said that, I can strongly say that mental health apps are of little to no use, and the real disruption will be to remove the stigma around mental illnesses and treatments. People are trying to digitize each and every sector they are putting their hands on, which should be done after analyzing if something actually needs to be changed.
