how a start-up can get funds, I have a idea but it isn't not a product, it's more like service so we can't make mvp. so on just based on idea or vision how we can get funding

Do a small scale experiment to check if it works and then try to do on a slightly bigger scale but with simple things only like using whatsapp or telegram etc and if you show the potential and drive then you can get investment

It is advised in business that " differentiate first your product or service and then scale later".
Because after scaling if we want to differentiate then it is tough and if we scale without differentiation then there is lot of cashburn required.
when I talk to investors they love my startup and show their interest to invest but when it comes to investing (final decision) they avoid or delay it, why?
It's so frustrating, if they don't want to invest then why do they show their interest 😓😖
