If your idea is something which can be easily copied. It makes no sense to build it in stealth. Even if you are the first mover. 2 new competitors can clone you and execute better than you! Build in stealth only if you have some secret sauce which no one can copy in future. Especially in B2C or D2C making it in public helps to get the feedback early and iterating on it faster.
