And it’s not just about the numbers—ads are shaping up to be the secret ingredient in their profitability recipe. Blinkit’s massive leap: Blinkit raked in ₹400 crore from ads in FY23-24—a whopping 4x growth from the previous year! Their FY24-25 target? ₹1,000 crore. For context, Blinkit’s Gross Order Value (GOV) in FY23-24 was ₹12,500 crore, meaning ads already contribute ~3.5% of GOV. Zepto leads the pack in ad spending among quick commerce players, pouring ₹215.82 crore into marketing in 2023. Blinkit, in comparison, focused on scaling its operations through a network of hyperlocal fulfillment centers.
