State of JavaScript 2024 Survey is out! Here are some key takeaways: - A lack of types is still an issue, which is why 80% of respondents write at least half of their code in TypeScript. - When using JavaScript in the browser, inconsistent browser support remains the main pain point (Safari is too far behind). - There are many new language features that people don't know about but find useful, highlighting the lack of clear communication and documentation. - Temporal is the most anticipated new JavaScript proposal. - React is still the most preferred SPA framework, while Vue dethrones Angular from the 2nd place. We are also seeing the gradual emergence of Svelte in the 4th position. - Express is the leader in the backend framework category, followed by the resurgence of Nest in the runner-up position. What are your thoughts on the survey? Make sure to check out: https://2024.stateofjs.com/en-US/
