Idea Validation! What about an EV scooter rental company where you can pick up and drop the scooters anywhere you wish? For eg, you picked up the scooter for the first time from the scooter stand. Then you drove it to your office, station, or anywhere and just dropped it there. Now, while coming back, you can use the same scooter where it was dropped (if someone else hasn't picked it up) and drive it to your home. Use? 1) Very convenient as you can pick up and drop anywhere 2) Offers door-to-door service Revenue Model? Just pay on a per km or per-day basis. Security? Vehicles would be GPS monitored. And to use it, just scan the QR code (or similar) through the mobile app, and it will identify the account and start charging. There are some companies doing this in the US, and it's working great. Will it work in India too?

This concept is super convenient and works well in countries like the USA because of better infrastructure, disciplined traffic, and a culture of self-service. But in India, challenges like poor road conditions, traffic chaos, and lack of charging infrastructure might make it harder to scale. Also, factors like affordability and security for EVs could be a concern. It’s a great idea, but it’ll need careful adaptation to fit the Indian context. What do you think?

it sounds great but I think managing availability (scooters being where they’re needed) and charging stations could be tricky...EVs are going well but the infra is still not there

many companies Tried and badly failed even in developed nations like China where sequrity is good and nowadays it's considered bad solution because any one can buy EV but definitely if somehow you create ev scooter 🛴 for students that's under 50k or import Chinese made small size scooter then you can easily target school , college , coching , working professional and other class of india but still at the end of the day you need to offer end to end modified solutions for this .
