Because your definitions are wrong. "Co-founder" is a designation given to any founder if there is a team of Founders. If one person creates a company he/she called as Founder. If a team of founders form the company, each founder is termed as a Co-Fo

Lol he only founded 3 companies, rest of them he purchased. There was a legal fight five years after forming Tesla to make him the Co-Founder because he was not one. The only companies he cofounded are X.com, Zip2, xAI and SpaceX. Rest were purchased. Lets not read news blindly
