1) Cost, animation is too expensive but still there are companies like l Reliance who can afford that (not making still) 2) Habits. like we all like Japanese cartoons and thus we wouldn't adopt to indian ones coz of that. 3) There are mang animated indian cartoons available and they are really great, but not that common.
